This weekend was all about the kiddies. Jeff and I took his sweet and beautiful niece to the Providence Children's Museum and we had a blast. She loved the water room, and throwing around skulls. She did not love getting her elbow caught in a toy in the "Little Woods" baby area, but stopped crying as soon as it was freed. She (and I) could've stayed there all day.
She also had her 2nd birthday party on Sunday. Her mom did an AMAZING job decorating, and everyone loved the giant cupcake cake - the frosting colors were so perfect. I made raspberry ginger peach mini-pies (my experiment using a muffin pan) for the party, they turned out pretty tasty. I used a combination of these two recipes, and a storebought crust for the bottom.
